Practical benefits for buyers
It is intended that the ACS Accreditation Mark will enable buyers of private security services to select potential suppliers quickly, accurately and objectively. Buyers should be able to enter into contracts with confidence in the knowledge that the accredited provider has met clearly defined and independently assessed quality standards throughout their business.
Immediate benefits of accreditation are:

BS 7984:2008, BS 7960:2005, BS 7872:2002 and BS 7958:2009.

Evidence of compliance with the relevant Code/s of Practice will be required as part of ACS status.
We have assisted numerous security companies to meet the requirements of these Codes of Practice as part of their preparation prior to applying for Approved Contractor status.
Compliance with these Codes of Practice can be addressed as part of your organisation’s Management System.
